Human Resources Recruiter (non-profit)

Self‑Help is a non‑profit organization dedicated to economic justice.
HR Recruiter, Durham, NC - Building a diverse network of affiliates, organizations, and schools to source applicants for regular, temporary, and intern positions. Full‑cycle recruiting with strategy development, posting, negotiating contracts, and coordinating hiring processes.
Develop and execute recruiting strategies based on unique needs of region or team.
Maintain regular follow‑up with hiring manager to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Drive hiring process to efficiently and effectively fill open jobs.
Maintain communication with all teams regarding new hire and onboarding across regions and departments (IT, Training & Compliance, etc.).
Assist hiring manager with interview scheduling and planning.
Facilitate interview feedback and decision‑making meetings for hiring of exempt staff.
Research and use new sources for active and passive recruiting.
Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition purposes.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related experience.
Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience (in‑house or staffing agency).
Progressive responsibilities in Human Resources.
Hands‑on experience with recruiting software and/or HRIS systems.
English/Spanish fluency is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Experience in the financial industry and/or the non‑profit community development sector a plus.
