Position Accounting Technician III

Agency The Mississippi State Department of Health’s mission is to protect and advance the health, well-being, and safety of everyone in Mississippi. Hours / Contract Full-Time

Review and process invoices for accounts payable. Reconcile payments/balance accounting using MAGIC. Maintain accounting records for multiple funding sources. Prepare fiscal reports and analyze transactions for budget analysis. Also accountable for reviewing and processing payroll, accounts receivable/payable, travel reimbursements and travel authorization requests.

Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 3-5 years of experience.
