Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Registered Nurse – Emergency Observation

Schedule: Shift: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A - 36 hours per week - One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend - Must work at least 1 holiday per contract

Assignment Details: Contract Duration: 16 weeks

Requirements: Active NY RN license NIH, AHA BLS and PALS certifications 2 years of recent experience 2 years of U.S. work history required for non U.S. candidates Experience with EPIC EMR

Roles & Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients in an observation unit Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Document patient care and progress accurately and timely Assist with ED boarder patients awaiting admission

Compliance / Notes: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Rotating blocked schedule can be requested; fixed block schedule must be Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon.
