Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Network Administrator role based in Arkansas. The Network Administrator will monitor and maintain local network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related hardware to ensure stable and secure operations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving network incidents, performing routine configuration changes, applying security policies, and assisting with system administration tasks linked to network services. The role involves providing technical support to internal users, documenting procedures and changes, and collaborating with field engineers and other IT team members to support ongoing projects and service delivery.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security for managing and protecting enterprise network environments.

Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to resolve network issues and assist end users effectively.

Candidates should possess System Administration skills to manage network-related services and ensure reliable system operations.

Relevant experience with routing and switching technologies, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks is beneficial.

Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL-aligned processes is an advantage.

Strong analytical abilities, clear communication skills, and a collaborative working style are required.

A degree or vocational qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
