Bellperson Overview The Bellperson is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating and delivering guests' needs. Assist in making reservations for restaurants and limousines for our guests. • Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guestrooms. • Follow-up with guest complaints to ensure that any problems are resolved. • Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction. • Ensure Lobby Presence when on shift. • Assist, retrieve, and load luggage for guests. • Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible. • Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible). • Train new bell staff members on the proper procedures and protocols of the hotel. • Send a daily email with any information necessary for the next shift. Inventory tools of the trade. Qualifications • Previous luxury hotel experience is required. • Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift. • Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail orientation, and excellent organizational skills needed. • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio. • Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends and holidays. • Highly developed customer service skills; Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations. Must meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all time. • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
