Physician-Hospitalist Medicine

Duties

Perform highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment of inpatients for the Pediatric Medicine Service.

Examine and conduct thorough studies of patients presented with medical management problems based on the level of professional ability.

Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; differentiating among the various contributory causes and prescribe appropriate treatment.

Provide administrative and direct supervision of assigned personnel including, but not limited to, students, residents, and advanced practitioners.

Plan, schedule, assign and direct the work of others; establish work priorities and deadlines; explain work requirements, methods and procedures as needed; and review work upon completion.
