Position Overview


We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students during the 2026-2027 school year. This role may involve working across more than one school site, providing flexibility and the opportunity to serve a diverse student population.

The OT will play a critical role in evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and supporting their functional and academic success in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Caseload

• Student caseload and service distribution will be determined prior to assignment

Additional Notes

• There is potential to support or supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) if one is placed
• If a COTA is utilized, the OT's responsibilities may focus more heavily on evaluations and supervision, with adjusted hours accordingly

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active state OT license (or eligibility)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
