Take your expertise in Special Education to a welcoming elementary setting on a contract basis for the upcoming academic year. Bring your passion for individualized instruction to an elementary resource caseload and help each student reach their fullest potential. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity perfect for educators who value collaboration, growth, and meaningful impact.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching Certification (Required—must submit certification and resume to be considered)
- Experience delivering resource services at the elementary level highly preferred
- Ability to provide instruction, support, and accommodations according to IEPs
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and colleagues
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver small-group and individualized resource instruction to elementary students
- Monitor and assess students’ academic and behavioral progress, communicating updates as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education programs in partnership with the IEP team
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as part of the school community
This contract assignment runs approximately from late August through early June, covering the full school year. The regular schedule is weekdays with 37.5 hours per week, offering committed support to students and staff in a vibrant educational environment.
