Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher working onsite with elementary students. This school-based position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment, serving as an elementary resource educator. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, offering a full-time weekday schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a resource setting.
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to foster student success.
• Communicating effectively with families regarding student progress, goals, and strategies.
• Managing caseload documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Attending staff meetings, professional development, and required district trainings.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Active Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4) required. Please ensure your certification and a current resume are provided with your application, as submissions cannot be considered without them.
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-5 setting strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction to meet individualized needs.
• Strong knowledge of special education best practices, laws, and regulations.

• Comfort collaborating with a variety of school-based professionals.
