Step into a vital role supporting young learners as an Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative educational environment. Working onsite at a vibrant elementary campus, you’ll provide essential instructional support and individualized learning interventions to help students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching certification, Tier 3 or 4 required
• Proven experience or strong interest in special education at the elementary level
• Deep understanding of IEP implementation, monitoring, and progress documentation
• Ability to design differentiated instruction for diverse learning needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
• Resume and current certification must be provided for consideration

Your Everyday Responsibilities:

• Manage an elementary resource caseload, providing evidence-based interventions
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals for assigned students
• Adapt curriculum content and instructional techniques for individual needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state standards
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing district initiatives
• Serve as a resource to ensure a positive learning experience for every student

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive setting where your expertise and passion for special education will be valued. The assignment runs from late August 2026 to early June 2027, Monday through Friday, for a total of 37.5 hours per week.
