Step into a vital role providing specialized educational support to students in an innovative elementary environment. This is a contract position, running from early September 2026 through mid-June 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will be based within a center supporting Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) services, collaborating closely with passionate colleagues dedicated to fostering success and inclusion for every child.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required; please attach certification and resume for consideration)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, with a preference for those experienced with Emotional Behavior Disorders
• Strong understanding of IEPs, behavioral intervention strategies, and collaborative problem-solving
• Ability to deliver instruction, assessment, and modifications in inclusive and resource settings
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional support and interventions for students with EBD, focusing on academic and behavioral growth
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, instructional assistants, specialists, and families
• Support a nurturing, student-centered classroom environment tailored to unique learning needs
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
