Trueline's client, an established and growing specialty construction contractor, is seeking an Accounting Administrator to join their team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll who is looking to broaden their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do as the Accounting Administrator Process Accounts Payable invoices and vendor payments. Support Accounts Receivable activities, billing, deposits, and collections. Assist with payroll processing and payroll record maintenance. Help with employee onboarding documentation and office administration. Support project setup, compliance documentation, and accounting recordkeeping. Learn additional accounting responsibilities through hands‑on training. Work closely with leadership and the outsourced Controller to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. Must-Haves as the Accounting Administrator Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable with excellent follow‑through. Comfortable learning new software and business processes. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Nice-to-Haves as the Accounting Administrator Construction industry experience. Foundation Software, Procore, ExakTime, Payroll4Construction, or similar systems. Certified payroll or prevailing wage experience. Experience supporting multiple accounting functions. Our Client Offers Competitive compensation of $60,000 annually .
