Are you someone who enjoys meaningful conversation and spending time outdoors? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to build connection and companionship with an adult living in a residential care setting in the Kent area.
About the Opportunity:
- Spend relaxed, one-on-one time chatting and getting to know someone
- Enjoy fresh air together on a porch or outdoor space
- Help reduce isolation and brighten someone’s day through conversation and presence
Location:
- Adult family home setting in Kent, WA
Schedule & Commitment:
- Flexible daytime visits
- Frequency based on volunteer availability
Ideal Volunteer:
- Friendly, patient, and a good listener
- Interested in building genuine connections
- Comfortable with a low-key, conversational visit
Training & Support:
- Orientation and support provided
- Ongoing guidance from volunteer coordinators
