We are seeking a friendly and creative volunteer to provide companionship to an older adult living in Kent. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on crafts and meaningful one‑to‑one connection.
About the Participant
- Alert and fully oriented
- Communicates clearly and makes needs known
- Enjoys beading and all kinds of crafts
- Benefits from social interaction and shared creative activities
Volunteer Role
- Provide in‑person companionship
- Engage in craft‑based activities such as beading or other hands‑on projects
- Offer conversation, encouragement, and social connection
- Support emotional well‑being through calm, consistent visits
Volunteer Preferences
- Enjoys arts, crafts, and creative projects
- Patient, dependable, and friendly
- No gender preference
- Flexible scheduling (weekly or bi‑weekly visits welcomed)
