Pay: $19–$20 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: DFW Airport area
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a stable, family-oriented logistics company. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, positive, dependable, and interested in growing into a senior accounting role.

Requirements

• Previous accounts payable or accounting clerk experience
• Experience entering and processing vendor invoices
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience researching invoice, payment, and vendor statement discrepancies
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize work and meet month-end deadlines
• Professional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• CargoWise experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Enter and process vendor invoices
• Print checks and enter payments into CargoWise
• Assist with vendor statement and American Express reconciliations
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and statement discrepancies
• Set up new vendors in accounting and operating systems
• Maintain accurate and confidential accounting records
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
• Assist with accounts receivable duties as training progresses
• Complete additional accounting-related duties as assigned

Schedule

The standard schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch . The company may allow a 30-minute lunch with a 4:30 PM departure .
