Corporate Governance Associate / Senior Associate Location: Wilmington, DE (Preferred) or New York, NY Work Schedule: Hybrid Our client, a highly respected litigation firm, is seeking a Corporate Governance Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing Delaware practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated Delaware Court of Chancery matters, including shareholder disputes, corporate governance litigation, appraisal actions, fiduciary duty claims, and other high-profile business litigation. Attorneys will work directly with experienced partners, receive significant responsibility from day one, and gain exposure to complex, nationally recognized matters. Responsibilities Handle Delaware Court of Chancery litigation from inception through resolution Draft complaints, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda Conduct legal and factual research Manage all phases of discovery Draft document requests, interrogatories, requests for admission, and deposition notices Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and trials Analyze deposition transcripts and case strategy Collaborate closely with partners and clients on sophisticated corporate disputes Qualifications J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school 2+ years of litigation experience (Class of 2023 or 2024 preferred) Experience handling matters before the Delaware Court of Chancery is strongly preferred Experience in one or more of the following: Corporate Governance Shareholder Litigation Fiduciary Duty Litigation Securities Litigation Complex Commercial Litigation Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Delaware Bar admission is not required. $160,000 - $300,000+ Base Salary (DOE) Competitive annual performance bonus Potential sign-on bonus Excellent mentorship from nationally recognized litigators Significant client and courtroom exposure Long-term career growth within a premier litigation practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
