Cybersecurity Engineer - Remote

Focusing on vulnerability and patch management primarily in Microsoft Azure, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer - Remote will manage cloud servers, workloads, and endpoints while ensuring secure configurations and up-to-date systems. Key Responsibilities Own the vulnerability and patch management process in Azure, utilizing tools to identify, validate, and remediate vulnerabilities Support patching and configuration hardening for cloud servers and endpoints, coordinating with IT teams to minimize risk Assist with basic security operations support, including ticket triage and incident response as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience in a security, systems, or cloud engineering role with responsibility for patching and vulnerability remediation Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure VMs and Azure Update Management Practical experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus or equivalent Strong understanding of operating system patching and basic configuration hardening concepts
