Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and financial needs, documenting insights to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents.

• Provide targeted individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on adjustment issues, grief-related challenges, coping mechanisms, and strategies for academic success.

• Coordinate with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services and ensure seamless continuity of care for students transitioning out of intensive support settings.

• Offer vital educational resources and emotional support to families, guiding them through treatment options and available community services.

• Play an active role in developing and implementing intervention plans, contributing to school-wide mental health initiatives that promote a supportive learning environment.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and optimize treatment strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to education and mental health.

• Maintain diligent documentation of all patient interactions in adherence to legal standards and organizational policies, providing transparent and accurate records of care.

This position primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of mental health needs within school settings. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position is competitively set between USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
