Patchwork Mental Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in providing remote school-based mental health services. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $85,000 to $104,000, with the added benefit of a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Work Environment\n

This position is designed for remote work, allowing flexibility in how you provide critical mental health support to students. You will be part of a collaborative team of professionals, working within the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday. We understand the importance of work-life balance and have made it a priority to offer flexible scheduling options, including the possibility of 4x10 or 5x8 shifts.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver innovative psychotherapy and counseling services tailored for individuals, groups, couples, and families, addressing various mental health concerns.

• Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to collect meaningful social, personal, environmental, and health information to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental health status and develop treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Design and coordinate programs and activities aimed at enhancing clients' social and emotional wellbeing.
\n
• Facilitate effective cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions, including crisis resolution tactics and referrals to supportive community resources.
\n
• Cultivate trust and establish relationships built on mutual respect, openness, and understanding with clients.
\n
• Regularly assess and document the effectiveness of treatment services in client records, maintaining accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
\n
• Manage a defined caseload, ensuring that case documentation is meticulous and reflective of the services provided.
\n
• Offer individual clinical counseling sessions aimed at helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.
\n
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed, contributing to the overall clinical operations of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with students and families coping with a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, mood disorders, substance abuse issues, and grief. By integrating mental health support within the educational setting, your work will directly impact student outcomes, fostering resilience and improving overall academic and personal success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
\n
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in mental health counseling or social work is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated expertise in treating behavioral health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, addiction, family and marital counseling, and grief support.

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is advantageous, enhancing your ability to engage with students and educational staff effectively.

• Familiarity with community resources and assessment tools relevant to mental health services for children and adolescents.
