While the majority of responsibilities will be managed remotely, some in-person meetings may occur within the school setting as necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges to identify specific support needs.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with students and their families, outlining clear goals, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring.
\n
• Provide therapeutic counseling sessions, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, which may include immediate risk assessment and safety planning to ensure the well-being of students.
\n
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources, facilitating access to additional services such as healthcare, housing assistance, and support groups.
\n
• Collaborate with school staff and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive support systems for students and families.
\n
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss student progress and refine service plans.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote the agency’s services and contribute to community awareness about mental health resources.

The individuals served in this role include a diverse population of students facing a variety of challenges. This includes youth from marginalized backgrounds who may be experiencing mental health issues, family instability, or socio-economic hardships. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
