Work Environment\n

This LCSW position is fully remote, allowing candidates the flexibility to work from home while engaging directly with students in the school setting. You will have the convenience of setting your schedule within a 40-hour workweek to meet the needs of your clients and collaborate effectively with educational professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Valley of Hope, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individual and group psychotherapy to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

• Conducting comprehensive client interviews to gather and analyze social histories, personal circumstances, and environmental factors impacting student well-being.

• Developing tailored treatment plans and coordinating interventions that meet the specific needs of students and their families.
\n
• Implementing therapeutic techniques and health interventions that promote mental wellness, crisis resolution, and referrals to additional community resources when necessary.

• Building and nurturing strong therapeutic relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and open communication.

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment strategies, adjusting plans as needed for optimal outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in adherence to organizational protocols and guidelines.

• Managing an appropriate caseload to ensure timely and effective services while remaining accessible to students and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, familial issues, and adjustment disorders. You will work collaboratively with educators, school administrators, and parents to create a supportive environment that emphasizes early intervention and ongoing mental health care. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical practice, preferably in a school or community-based setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience treating behavioral mental health issues, including mood disorders, substance abuse, grief and loss, as well as experience in family and marital counseling, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with multicultural approaches to therapy and school-based mental health initiatives is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, competitive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and life insurance.
