Make a difference in the lives of students by sharing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Minneapolis and Saint Paul, MN. This contract position spans the full academic year, from August 3, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with consistent hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 40 hours each week. You'll have the opportunity to work with students across middle school and possibly elementary grade levels (K-8th), providing both pull-out instruction and inclusion support tailored to diverse learning needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education teaching license
• Prior experience working with K-8th grade students in special education settings preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction to support students with varying needs
• Strong skills in collaboration and communication with educators, families, and specialists
• Comfortable delivering both small group and in-class support services
• Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions in both pull-out and general education classrooms
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and observation
• Work collaboratively with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
