This assignment runs from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a full-time 37.5 hours per week schedule—giving you a balance between professional engagement and personal exploration. Working in just one building fosters supportive relationships with staff and students, providing a cohesive teaching environment and important continuity for your students.

Your role will include:

• Supporting a Setting 3 classroom for students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Managing a caseload of approximately 6-10 elementary-aged students
• Implementing evidence-based instructional strategies in an EBD Setting 3 cluster
• Creating a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to develop and adapt IEPs and individualized supports
• Communicating closely with families and caregivers regarding student progress

Desired qualifications:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in DCD/ASD and EBD Setting 3 environments
• Active licensure with ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students reach their fullest potential
