Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education teaching license in one or more of the following: ASD, DCD, EBD, ABS
• A minimum of two years’ dedicated Special Education classroom teaching experience (other roles do not count toward this requirement)
• Proven ability to adapt instruction and environment to meet diverse learners’ needs
• Deep understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education services in a variety of elementary environments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff
• Maintain accurate records and participate in eligibility, evaluation, and progress monitoring activities
• Foster positive and supportive classroom communities where all students thrive
