• Implement individualized speech therapy sessions dedicated to enhancing communication abilities across language, fluency, voice, and swallowing domains.
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, medical professionals, caregivers, and family members to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families to encourage continuous improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy to ensure continuity of care through the entire recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility protocols.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certification Criteria

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
