Senior Contracts Administrator - Federal Hub Gas Plant Projects (U.S. Government Project)

Location: Remote (Onsite in Juno Beach, Florida preferred)

Duration : Long-term 12+ month contract with extensions that can go on for several years. Potential conversion opportunity may also be available

Role Overview

This position is for a Contract Administrator to support U.S. Government projects. The role involves administering and managing all prime contract obligations, ensuring performance aligns with contractual requirements, milestones, and deliverables. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, organized, and proactive professional with strong communication skills, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all prime contract obligations under a U.S. Government contract.
• Coordinate with program offices and Government stakeholders on performance reporting, schedule submittals, and certifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related correspondence and formal communications.
• Maintain a contract deliverables requirements matrix (CDRM) and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
• Review, interpret, and flow down applicable Government contract clauses to the project team.
• Track and administer Request for Information (RFI), submittal, and correspondence logs.
• Lead the identification, preparation, pricing, and negotiation of contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments.
• Participate in project schedule reviews to assess contractual risk and flag exposure.
• Conduct contract closeout activities, including final invoice reconciliation and submission of required certifications.
• Manage project paperwork such as schedules and work orders, ensuring deliverables are tracked and completed by the appropriate parties.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5 to 15 years of experience in project coordination, including roles in contract administration. Experience and comfortability working in a fast-paced, compressed-timeline environment is required,

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, Word, SharePoint, and managing PDF schedules and contract documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• A background as a paralegal is considered a plus.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
