Program AdministratorReporting to the Manager of Professional Programs, the Program Administrator leads and directs a portfolio of continuing and professional education programs, holding full ownership of vision, strategic direction, and end-to-end product development. You will lead close collaboration with instructional designers, faculty, and subject matter experts to build and launch new offerings end to end.Strategic Portfolio Leadership & Product DevelopmentLead the full product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization, for an assigned portfolio of continuing and professional education programs, applying adult learning principles and design best practices. Responsibilities include:Owning and articulating a compelling product vision and multi-year growth strategy for current programs and future portfolio expansionDirecting end-to-end course development from concept through launch, including curriculum architecture, content sequencing, and assessment design in close partnership with instructors, subject matter experts, and instructional designersSetting project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and holding internal and external partners accountable to themMaking data-informed decisions on pricing, positioning, and competitive differentiationIdentifying market opportunities and translating them into concrete business requirements, new program concepts, and program enhancementsServing as the primary relationship manager and decision-maker for vendors and instructors, including recruitment, contracting, performance oversight, and renewal or termination decisionsEnsuring curriculum quality and optimal student experience across all delivery channels, including relevant Learning Management SystemsProviding hands-on operational leadership and real-time problem-solving as neededMarket Intelligence, Compliance & Financial PerformanceServe as the definitive subject matter authority on market dynamics, industry standards, and program performance for assigned portfolio. This includes:Leading ongoing competitive analysis and needs assessments to keep programs relevant, differentiated, and future-readyMonitoring industry trends through professional association engagement, expert networks, and current literature, and translating findings into actionable recommendationsEnsuring full compliance with applicable accreditation and university requirementsOwning full program financial performance: managing direct costs, producing P&L statements, setting financial goals, and delivering portfolio performance reports to leadershipUsing student evaluation data and program metrics to drive continuous improvement and inform decisions on future offeringsStakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional CollaborationOperate as a communicator, connector, and thought leader across the organization, including:Building alignment with colleagues, unit directors, and senior leadership through regular, structured updates and strategic recommendationsLeading cross-unit collaboration to advance shared goals and resolve challengesRepresenting the program portfolio in planning discussions on future product direction and organizational growth opportunitiesMaintaining thorough documentation to support continuity, transparency, and accountabilityRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience designing, developing, or delivering training or professional development for adult learners, including experience with end-to-end course developmentDemonstrated experience partnering with instructional designers, faculty, and subject matter experts to build curriculum from concept to launchDemonstrated strategic thinking and a track record of developing and executing a product or program vision, including planning for future product directionStrong financial acumen, including experience with budget management, P&L ownership, and financial analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levelsHigh degree of initiative and ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgement in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams and with external partnersWillingness to travel occasionally as neededRelevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a relevant fieldExperience in higher education, workforce development, professional associations, or corporate training environmentsTrack record of launching or scaling multiple educational programs or professional development offerings, including leading products from concept through market launchExperience directing the work of instructional designers or cross-functional project teamsFamiliarity with program coordination, Project Management software and Learning Management SystemsSalary Range$65,000 + depending on qualificationsWorking ConditionsWork to be performed in typical office environmentRequired MaterialsResume/CV3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisorLetter of interest
