Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique goals and needs of patients, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific requirements.
• Maintain a structured patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality interactions and thorough treatment.
• Engage in hands-on physical therapy techniques, employing your expertise to minimize pain and enhance mobility.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, including conservative management strategies that empower patients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust care plans utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities, from manual therapy to therapeutic exercise.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness regimens that promote long-lasting health benefits and encourage patient involvement in their recovery process.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring their enthusiasm and commitment to achieving functional improvements.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through rigorous assessment and intervention.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain consistent communication with both patients and other caregivers.
• Accurately document services provided and progress made, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no disciplinary actions.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
