Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - SSM Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience: Required. - PASS + Call out if limited in dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Comprehensive overflow unit staffed by the in-house hospitalist team, caring for patients from all disciplines and a wide variety of patient types. - Patient population includes CKD, diabetes, falls, endocarditis, osteomyelitis, trauma-related injuries, stroke, seizures, COPD, and heart failure.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Float to all care areas to care for Med-Surg patients.
