Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students in Boulder, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $65/hour) + steady school-year schedule Supportive, collaborative school district W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You'll Do Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning Deliver research-based interventions based on individual student needs Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license or application in process Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Minimum 1 year of classroom experience Flexible team player Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams & students Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
