Associate Director, Regional Clinical Liaison, Marketing
Merck
Regional clinical liaison for HIV treatments who will engage healthcare providers and key opinion leaders across assigned US territories. The role combines field-based scientific advocacy, stakeholder relationship building, and insights gathering to inform marketing strategies and clinical positioning.
Responsibilities
- Provide approved scientific and clinical expertise to healthcare providers and opinion leaders on HIV treatments
- Build and maintain compliant relationships with regional and national key opinion leaders and key decision makers
- Gather structured feedback on regional barriers, unmet needs, and influence networks; report insights to headquarters
- Attend key sales meetings and national congresses to support clinical engagement and brand presence
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and medical affairs to align on scientific strategies and account dynamics
Requirements
- Advanced clinical degree (PharmD, DNP, NP, or PA)
- Board certification or specialization in infectious diseases, internal medicine, or pharmacy
- Current US professional licensure appropriate to clinical degree
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience in the US, preferably in HIV care or pharmacy
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex healthcare ecosystems and build stakeholder relationships
- Strong scientific communication and compliance stewardship skills
