Paralegal Admin SpecialistCGS is seeking a Paralegal to process electronic legal instruments, assist with trial prep and hearings, and provide additional legal support for a large federal agency. Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.Skills and attributes for success:Provide Apprentice examination of legal instrumentsReview legal instruments (completeness of information, proper execution)Provides direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys and paralegals regarding functional and administrative duties as neededDetermine correctness of action (per Government regulations, procedures, etc)Research records (to ascertain conditions that might preclude action)Assists with various tasks within the Litigation Support Unit on a daily basis to include the processing of data and evidence for cases and the completion of discovery productionsAssist with the preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstrativesCollects and compiles statistical data as necessary for various reportsProvide assistance within the Administrative Division on project-based work as well as coverage of administrative duties during employee vacationsProficiency with numerous software and databases including, but not limited to, MICROSOFT SUITEQualifications:Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directionsGood oral and written communications skillsTwo-year undergraduate degree or equivalentContact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
