Position: Matrimonial Paralegal

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Company/Industry: Well-established law firm

Schedule: Mon-Fri In-Office Only

Salary: $55,000 - $80,000/yr, depending on experience, flexibility for the right candidate + benefits

Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

Document Preparation: Draft pleadings, discovery requests, court filings, and financial net worth statements.
Financial Analysis: Gather, organize, and summarize financial records, bank statements, and tax returns for discovery.
Case & Calendar Management: Oversee attorney court dates, filing deadlines, depositions, and case files.
Client Relations: Conduct initial intakes, manage engagement letters/retainers, and provide regular case updates.
Billing Support: Handle time entry, draft client invoices, and track accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of legal support experience (matrimonial/family law).
Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management/billing software.
Excellent communication, high attention to detail, and absolute discretion with confidential matters.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $80,000.00
