Receptionist Opportunity

This role serves as the first point of contact for members, visitors, vendors, and contractors, making it a great opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, administration, reception, retail, banking, hospitality, or office support. What You'll Do

As the Receptionist, you will:

• Greet and assist members, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls through a busy multi-line phone system.
• Process member payments and assist with basic billing inquiries.
• Respond to questions regarding services, programs, and account information.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, shipping requests, and general correspondence.
• Monitor and respond to email communications.
• Assist with document management, filing, label printing, faxing, and other clerical duties.
• Coordinate visitor check-ins and support meetings, interviews, and appointments.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain an organized, professional, and customer-friendly front desk area.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Qualifications

Required

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, front desk support, retail, banking, hospitality, or a related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to provide professional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable work ethic.
• Comfortable handling cash transactions with accuracy.

Preferred

• Experience working in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting administrative or office operations.
• Experience working with diverse customer populations, including elderly customers.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
