Pay: $25.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and community-focused Executive Coordinator for a confidential organization in Lake County, IL area. The ideal candidate will not only excel in administrative tasks but also shine in social settings, building positive relationships and representing our organization with professionalism and warmth.

Responsibilities :

Coordinate, attend, and actively participate in leadership meetings
Manage the CEOs schedule and travel arrangements
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, and creating flyers.
Assist in preparing reports and maintaining databases
Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact for businesses, partners, and community members.
Provide executive administrative support as needed
Support preparation of Board communications and governance materials
Support preparation of talking points, briefing memos, and background materials for meetings or events
Support project timelines by coordinating deliverables, reminders, and status updates

*Experience*

BILINGUAL - SPANISH/ENGLISH REQUIRED.
3+ years of Proven experience in project management
Experience supporting nonprofit or public-sector executive leadership
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills- comfortable speaking with community leaders, businesses, and event attendees. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience coordinating complex schedules
Previous experience in an office setting or related field is preferred
