Regional Mortgage Sales Leader - Southeast Expansion

A fast-growing state-chartered bank is expanding its retail mortgage footprint across the Southeastern U.S. We're looking for an experienced mortgage industry leader who wants to drive that growth-and who's ready to build and lead top-performing sales and operations teams across the region.

What You'll Do:

• Build and manage high-performing mortgage sales and operations teams across multiple Southeastern markets.
• Develop business plans to expand market share, drive production, and grow profitability.
• Proactively recruit seasoned loan officers and leaders to fuel regional growth.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for expansion.
• Coach and mentor originators to increase volume and market presence.
• Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and high-quality customer service.
• Partner with executive leadership to align regional goals with corporate strategy.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has at least 3 years of mortgage production management experience leading teams.
• Brings at least 8 years of retail mortgage origination experience.
• Knows how to recruit and retain high-producing loan officers.
• Understands agency guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, GNMA) and compliance requirements.
• Can balance big-picture strategy with the day-to-day needs of running branches.
• Has strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Is analytical, decisive, and driven to achieve results.
• Operates with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary
• Lucrative overrides on regional production
• High commissions for personal production
