Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Agile Business Systems Analyst to support an enterprise Finance application as it transitions from proof of concept to a production-ready capability.

The BSA will act as the primary liaison between Finance/business stakeholders, technology teams, data/integration teams, security, infrastructure, architecture, and external implementation partners. The role will translate business needs into actionable delivery requirements while ensuring application knowledge, decisions, processes, and documentation are effectively maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Business Systems Analyst for the application and coordinate day-to-day delivery activities.
• Partner with Finance and Product stakeholders to understand business processes, priorities, calculations, workflows, and business rules.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize the Jira backlog, including defects, dependencies, risks, decisions, and action items.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Demos, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
• Coordinate dependencies across Azure, Data/EIM, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, integrations, and other technology teams.
• Support data requirements related to vehicle, cost, pricing, volume, mix, profitability, competitive analysis, and planning inputs.
• Coordinate source-system and integration requirements, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue tracking.
• Coordinate application access, user roles, environment requirements, and security needs.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, business validation, and release readiness.
• Work closely with implementation/vendor teams during design, development, testing, deployment, stabilization, and knowledge transfer.
• Document application functionality, data dependencies, integrations, design decisions, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Support production-readiness activities, go-live preparation, hypercare, and transition to ongoing support.
• Provide concise updates regarding project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to business and technology leadership.
• Support future application phases, including additional integrations, workflow enhancements, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Required / Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical BSA, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable enterprise application role.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile/project management tools.
• Experience supporting Finance, FP&A, financial planning, pricing, profitability, or other data-intensive business applications.
• Experience coordinating cloud-hosted applications, APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure application environments.
• Understanding of SSO, RBAC, CI/CD concepts, and Dev/Test/UAT/Production environments.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, defect management, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.
• Experience with automotive, financial planning, forecasting, or other complex enterprise applications is a plus.
