Registered Nurse

Emergency Room nurses provide critical care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Weekend shifts are required every third weekend. For night shifts, the schedule can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, depending on rotation. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting. First-timers are accepted but must meet the experience requirement. Nurses will manage various patient diagnoses in a diverse age group, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults. The nurse will perform essential emergency procedures and care. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary support services. Nurses should have strong skills in areas such as airway management, medication administration, and emergency response. Proper compliance with all required certifications and competencies is mandatory. The facility operates as an acute care hospital and is equipped for comprehensive patient care. Nurses will utilize EPIC for electronic charting. All travelers are expected to float within their service line as needed.
