Role Description The Bookkeeper role at Dolphin Creative is a full-time, hybrid position based in Skokie, IL. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day financial recordkeeping, including entering and reconciling transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and monitoring cash flow to support business operations. The role also involves working with accounting software to generate reports, support month-end and year-end processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Bookkeeping and Finance to manage daily financial operations and support decision-making. Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to ensure accuracy and clarity of company performance. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software to record transactions, generate reports, and streamline financial processes. Candidates should possess skills in creating and posting Journal Entries (Accounting) to maintain correct ledgers and support closing activities. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software; familiarity with common small-business accounting systems is preferred. Relevant coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and prior bookkeeping experience in a small or mid-sized business environment is beneficial. Compensation
