This contract role offers the chance to make a significant difference for K–12 students, working directly on campus to support their social, emotional, and academic growth for the 2026-2027 school year. The assignment begins October 1, 2026, and runs through May 26, 2027, with potential for extension.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, current Alabama school psychology license required (proof of licensure must be provided at application)
• Experience in school settings preferred, with a passion for supporting diverse student populations (K–12)
• Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills in educational environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to serve multiple schools (itinerant work may be involved depending on testing needs)
• Committed to working on-site only

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students, including psychoeducational assessments and behavioral observations
• Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services as appropriate
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other student-centered meetings
• Adapt services to meet changing student and district needs throughout the school year

Position Details & Perks:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, school-based schedule (Monday-Friday)
