Staff Accountant

Position Overview We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support our client’s day-to-day financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including accruals and adjustments Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules Support contract and funding-related reporting requirements Track and manage financial data across multiple funding sources Maintain documentation for financial transactions and expenditures Assist with audit preparation, including reconciliations and supporting documentation Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures Support budgeting and forecasting processes Partner with internal teams to review financial data and ensure proper allocation of expenses Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 2+ years of accounting experience Experience with fund accounting or multi-source funding environments preferred Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Why Join Opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization Collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr King & Bishop
