Staff Accountant

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary: Commensurate with experience Join Our Business Team! In this role, you'll collaborate with a supportive team while helping maintain the financial integrity of one of the region's leading behavioral healthcare organizations. Why You'll Love Working at Pathways Supportive finance team Opportunity for growth and advancement Work that positively impacts your community What You'll Do Maintain accounting records and financial transactions using QuickBooks and other financial management systems. Perform monthly accounting for affiliated entities. Process and maintain payee and fiduciary financial records. Complete monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries. Assist with monthly financial statements and Board financial reports. Analyze general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies. Support budget monitoring and month-end/year-end close. Maintain organized accounting records for audits. Assist internal departments with financial information. Complete additional accounting projects as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Preferred One to three years of accounting experience. Experience with QuickBooks. Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations. Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required.
