Our client is an established transformer manufacturer expanding its U.S. business. They are seeking a Sales Engineer with transformer industry experience to develop new business, grow key accounts and help shape their U.S. go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop new business and grow customer relationships across the U.S.
\n
• Sell transformer solutions through a technical, consultative approach.
\n
• Work with customers and engineering teams to understand specifications and develop proposals.
\n
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through quotation, negotiation and order booking.
\n
• Help identify target markets, develop account strategies and strengthen channel relationships.
\n
• Travel to customer meetings and industry events as required.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Technical sales experience with transformers, ideally gained within a transformer manufacturer.
\n
• Understanding of power and/or distribution transformers and their applications.
\n
• Ability to discuss customer specifications and coordinate with engineering teams.
\n
• Experience developing new accounts and managing existing customer relationships.
\n
• Comfortable working independently within a growing business.
\n

• Strong base salary, depending on experience.

• Uncapped commission at 2% of sales value.
\n
• 50% of commission paid at booking, with the remaining 50% on completion.
