This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or preferred setting. Utilizing advanced telehealth platforms, you will have the opportunity to connect with clients across different demographics, ensuring a private and confidential environment for therapy. As part of our telehealth team, you will receive support from administrative staff for scheduling, and use electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and create individualized treatment plans.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support clients in overcoming their mental health challenges.

• Equip clients with practical tools and strategies to manage their symptoms effectively and maintain progress outside of sessions.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide referrals to psychiatrists or additional support services as needed.

• Maintain meticulous records of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and client communications using EHR systems in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice caters to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. You will work with clients from various cultural backgrounds, requiring a deep understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity in therapy practices. Additionally, your therapeutic approach should consider the unique challenges that each client faces in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrable crisis intervention skills and proficiency in maintaining a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and a proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
