Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with clients to create a safe space for candid discussions and exploration of challenges.

• Diagnose mental health disorders, ensuring accurate assessments and tailored treatment approaches aligned with best practices.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, taking into account unique needs and circumstances while utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adjusting treatment plans in response to ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient progress, employing therapeutic assessments to gauge effectiveness and make informed decisions about care adjustments.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team by engaging with specialists for referrals and coordinated care whenever necessary, promoting a holistic treatment strategy.

• Document all interactions and progress in compliance with best practices and organizational standards to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our clientele often comprises families seeking interventions to better communicate and resolve conflicts, as well as couples navigating challenges to their relationships. Special attention is given to addressing co-occurring disorders, with an integrated approach for those also struggling with substance use.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this role.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for managing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
