Director of Sales - AI / InsurTech - San Francisco Hybrid - $170K-$220K Base + Equity Intalex is partnered with an early-stage AI software company focused on the insurance industry, and they are actively hiring for a Director of Sales. They're building AI software that acts like a digital coworker for insurance teams, automating a lot of the manual work involved in documents, applications, claims and workflows. They've raised around $5M and already have $500K+ ARR, with strong momentum toward $1M ARR. The product is designed to work alongside existing insurance systems rather than forcing teams to completely replace their current tools. They're targeting the huge commercial insurance market, working across insurance agencies, brokers, MGAs, insurers and claims organisations. This is a builder-style Director of Sales role, helping create and scale the sales organisation. You'll hire and develop AEs and SDRs, build the GTM playbook, improve forecasting and pipeline processes, and help shape the sales strategy. It's not a pure management role — they want someone who has recently carried a quota and is still comfortable getting involved in deals. $170K-$220K base + competitive equity | $280K-$380K OTE (If the salary isn't right, what range works?)
