Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy, concentrating on areas such as language, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, and family members, to develop integrated care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on advancements in teletherapy and treatment methodologies.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
