National Account Executive

Express Family Logistics is looking for motivated recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a career in the fast-paced transportation and logistics industry. No logistics experience required. Instead of hiring you into one specific career path on day one, we'll teach you how the business works from the ground up. You'll gain hands‑on exposure to the different sides of logistics, including operations, customer service, account management, brokerage, and sales. As you develop, we'll work with you to identify where your strengths fit best and help you grow into a long-term role within Express. What You'll Learn You’ll build a strong foundation in transportation and third‑party logistics, including: How freight moves from pickup to delivery FTL, expedite, and other transportation services Shipment tracking and customer communication Freight quoting, pricing, and margins Carrier and driver communication Customer service and problem solving Account management and relationship building Sales, prospecting, and business development Using logistics and sales technology How operations, sales and customer service work together You’ll also gain real‑world experience working alongside our operations, account management, brokerage and sales teams. Where Can This Role Take You? As you learn the business and demonstrate your strengths, you'll have the opportunity to develop toward career paths such as: Account Management Build customer relationships, manage freight needs, and grow existing accounts. Prospect new customers, run meetings, close business, and build your own portfolio of accounts. Operations & Customer Service Manage shipments, solve problems, communicate with customers and carriers, and keep freight moving. Work with carriers, source capacity, negotiate rates, and help execute customer shipments. Your performance, interests and strengths will help determine where you go next. Who We're Looking For You don't need years of logistics experience. We're looking for people with the potential to become great at it. You may be a great fit if you're: A recent college graduate or early in your career Competitive and motivated to grow Organized and able to multitask A quick learner and problem solver Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment Interested in business, sales, transportation, operations or account management Looking for a career path, not just your next job Degrees in business, supply chain, logistics, communications, marketing or related fields are helpful, but not required. Compensation & Growth: $40,000–$50,000 starting base salary, with opportunities for increased earning potential, commission, and career advancement into sales, account management, operations or other specialized roles upon successful completion of the training program.
