Baker McKenzie’s Tax Practice expertly covers all aspects of tax planning and transactions, dispute resolution (both administrative and litigation), tax policy, transfer pricing, indirect taxes and wealth management tax advice and planning. Baker McKenzie seeks a Mid to Senior-Level Tax Associate for its Tax Planning and Transactions practice. As part of this practice, you would be advising companies on and assisting in the implementation of complex cross-border transactions. You would also be drafting memoranda and opinions on the most current, complex US tax issues. The successful candidate will have 3-7 years of relevant experience in international and corporate tax issues. The candidate must be able to manage projects and work with colleagues in different practice groups and countries. In addition, a successful candidate will need to enjoy working in a dynamic environment in which they will be required to learn and embrace new, developing areas of the tax law in which there is limited formal guidance. Top academic credentials are a prerequisite and an LLM in Taxation will be favorably considered.
