Summary:
- Client is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity with a global financial institution. 3 days onsite per week in Charlotte, NC.
We're looking for an engineering professional with strong experience in data center critical infrastructure, including:
-
- Electrical systems - UPS, generators, switchgear & power distribution
- Mechanical systems - cooling & environmental infrastructure
- Capacity planning, resiliency & redundancy
- Data center construction, upgrades & commissioning
- Root cause/failure analysis & infrastructure reliability
- DCIM, telemetry, monitoring & engineering metrics
- Utility providers, vendors, construction teams & AHJs
- Infrastructure projects, budgets & cost controls
Ideal Background:
- 5+ years in Data Center Engineering, Critical Facilities, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related infrastructure disciplines, preferably within a large/global organization.
- Important: Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
